The GoVault data protection software keeps track of the archive file
configuration of all GoVault cartridges that have been introduced.
Ejecting a cartridge from the GoVault dock only changes its status from
Available to Offline. It remains part of the GoVault data protection
software archive system, and its status remains on system displays.
To remove a cartridge from the GoVault data protection software archive
environment:

Click
Cartridges
on the GoVault data protection software
Home
page
to display the
Cartridge
page (see
figure 46
on page 58).

In the
Cartridge Status
display, verify that the cartridge you want to
remove is not inserted in the GoVault dock and its status is Offline.
If the cartridge you want to remove is in the GoVault dock and its
status is Available:
a
Select/highlight the cartridge that you want to remove.

Open the
Cartridge Utilities
menu and select
Eject Cartridge
to
eject the selected cartridge and activate the
Remove
command
button.
