Operating the slicer
•
Place the food to be sliced on the food tray and press it slightly against the rebate plate. The food must
not contain any bones or other hard components.
•
As soon as there is only a small part of food left, you have to use the food pusher to avoid injuries. The
appliance must not be used without food tray and food pusher.
•
The blade (1) rotates as long as both On / Off (9) and Safety (9) buttons are pressed down. Release them
to stop the machine and wait until the blade has stopped rotating.
•
You can adjust the desired cutting speed using the 3-speed switch (10).
•
When you have finished, align the thickness guide with the blade.
•
Please clean the appliance and the blade in particular, immediately after cutting fat food (e.g. cold meat,
cheese etc.).

Wipe the appliance with a damp cloth. Do not use any scouring agents. Do not use steel wool.
•
Caution: the blade is very sharp. The blade is made of stainless steel. Wipe it with a damp cloth. Please
be very careful when cleaning the blade.
•
From time to time you should also clean the area behind the blade. First remove the food tray by sliding it
off the rail. Then turn the blade assembly (2) in the middle of the blade counterclockwise to release the
blade.
•
Take out the blade very carefully and clean it by hand in warm water with a drop of mild cleaning solution.
•
Do not leave the blade in the water in order to reduce the risk of injuries. Reinstall it directly after cleaning.
•
Clean the housing behind the blade with a dry cloth or a soft brush.
•
