Important safeguards
Before using the appliance
• Please read the following instruction carefully before using the slicer for the first time and keep them
ready at hand.
• Warning: The warnings, cautions and instructions discussed in this instruction manual cannot cover all the
possible conditions and situations that may occur. It must be understood by the operator that common
sense and caution are factors which cannot be built into this product, but must be supplied by the
operator himself.
• Do not operate the product if under influence of alcohol or drugs.
• Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry as they can be caught in parts. Wear restrictive hair cover to contain
long hair.
• Caution: The blade is very sharp, risk of injuries!
• Children are not aware of risk resulting form electrical appliances and cutting tools. Therefore the slicer
must not be used by children.
• Do not immerse the slicer into water or any other liquid.
• Always operate the slicer with a shock-proof 230V~ socket. Always connect and use the slicer in
compliance with the rating label.
• In order to avoid injuries, the food pusher has to be placed on the food tray, as soon as the food is small
enough to place the food pusher.
• Always use the food pusher for slicing of small pieces of food.
• The appliance must not be used for any other than the provided purpose. Only use it for cutting food, that
does not contain bones or any other hard solid parts.
• After use of the slicer and before cleaning it, pull the plug out if the socket and align the thickness guide
with the blade.
• Please avoid any contact between the power cord and the blade or any other sharp edges. The blade is
very sharp, be very cautious when cleaning it!
• Inexpert handing and repairs may entail serious risks to user. Repairs should only be performed by our
after sales service.
• The slicer is provided for indoor domestic use and is not suitable for commercial use. Only use it for
slicing household quantities. Do not use in damp or wet conditions.
• Check the plug and power cord regularly for wear and damage. In case of a fault, please send the
appliance for inspection/repair to our after sales service.
• The manufacturer does not assume any warranty in case of improper or incorrect or commercial use or
after repair by unauthorized third party.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities, or lack of experiance and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

Before using the appliance for the first time, wipe it with a damp cloth (See Chapter Cleaning).
• Place the slicer on a flat, clean, solid, and dry surface.
• Unfold the platform (5) by pressing the platform folding button (13).
• Slide the food pusher (7) onto the food tray (8).
• Food tray with food pusher attached slides into the food tray rail (4).
• Connect the plug into a power socket as declared on the rating label.
• Adjust the desired cutting thickness by turning the slice thickness gauge (12). Turn it clockwise for thicker
slices or counterclockwise for thinner slices. You can check you setting with
