Block Transfer Status
Block transfer status is mapped to S2:64 to S2:189.
There are 32 bits (2 words) per rack. The first word contains the status for I/O groups 0-3; the second
word contains the status for I/O groups 4-7.
The offset for the first word of block transfer status for a rack is given by:
ofs = Rack(decimal) * 2 + 64
The even bits correspond to block transfer writes. The odd bits correspond to block transfer reads.
When a BT is updated, the corresponding bit is set.

AN-X clears the block transfer status bits by polling for block transfer updates at the rate set by
BtStsPoll in the configuration file. The default poll period is 2000 ms. The allowed range is 10ms –
44000 ms.
It may take up to two poll periods to clear the status bits since the polling and I/O scan are
asynchronous.
