drives. RAID 5 does not back up the stored data, but stores the data and the corresponding
parity information on each of the disks that make up the RAID5, and the parity information
and the corresponding data are separately Stored on different disks. When a disk data of
RAID5 is damaged, the remaining data and the corresponding parity information can be used
to recover the damaged data.
4.RAID 10
RAID 10 first mirrors and then partitions data, and then divides all hard disks into two
groups, which is regarded as the lowest combination of RAID 0, and then treats these two
groups as RAID 1 respectively. RAID 10 is also called mirrored array striping. Like RAID 0, data
is extracted across disks; like RAID 1, each disk has a mirror disk.
RAID 10 uses RAID 0 as the execution array and RAID 1 as the data protection array. It has
the same fault tolerance as RAID 1. When one hard drive in RAID 10 is damaged, the remaining
hard drives will continue to operate. RAID 01 As long as one hard disk is damaged, all hard
disks in the same RAID 0 group will stop functioning, leaving only the other hard disks in
operation, which is less reliable. Therefore, RAID 10 is far more commonly used than RAID 01.
Most retail motherboards support RAID 0/1/5/10, but not RAID 01.
