Installing the Rack Brackets
When the server is to be installed into a rack, it is necessary to install two rack mount brackets onto the server
chassis prior to installing the server into the rack. Follow the procedures below to install the rack mount brackets
onto the server.
Remove the Rails
Press and hold the release button, then pull the inner rail out of the slide rail. See image that follows.
Both rail sections are separated as the following image demonstrates.
Place the inner rail on the server side and secure with the mounting screws.
Secure the Inner Rail
Align the slide rail with the inner rail and push back in place.
Once the slide rail is positioned, press the release lever, as shown, to finishing the rail assembly.
