Highlight this item and press

to save any changes that you have made in the
Setup utility and exit the Setup utility. When the Save Changes and Exit dialog box appears, press
Y
to save the
changes and exit, or press
N
to return to the setup main menu.
Discard Changes and Exit:
Highlight this item and press
Enter
to discard any changes that you have made in the
Setup utility and exit the Setup utility. When the Discard Changes and Exit dialog box appears, press
Y
to discard
changes and exit, or press
N
to return to the setup main menu.
Discard Changes:
select this item and press
Enter
to discard any changes you have made without leaving the
setup utility.
Load Optimal Defaults:
if you highlight this item and press
Enter
, a dialog box asks if you want to install opti-
mal settings for all the items in the Setup utility. Press the
Y
key to indicate Yes, and then press
Enter
to install
the optimal settings.
The optimal settings default values are quite demanding and your system might not function properly if you are
using slower memory chips or other kinds of low-performance components.
Load Failsafe Defaults:
If you highlight this item and press
Enter
, a dialog box asks if you want to install fail-
safe settings for all the items in the Setup utility. Press the
Y
key to indicate Yes, and then press
Enter
to install
the fail-safe settings.
The fail-safe settings default values are not demanding so a system should be able to operate with the fails safe
settings even if it is installed with slower memory chips or other kinds of low-performance components.
