Installing a Riser Board
You can install expansion cards on the system's riser board. The riser board plugs into the riser connector on the
system board.
CAUTION!
BEFORE INSTALLING ANY COMPONENT, YOU MUST TURN OFF THE SYS-
TEM AND DISCONNECT IT FROM ITS POWER SOURCE. FOR MORE

Slot A: PCI-Ex16 connector with PCI-Ex16 connectivity (supports PCI-E long cards)
Slot B: PCI-Ex16 connector with PCI-Ex 8 connectivity (supports PCI-E short cards)
Slot C: PCI-Ex16 connector with PCI-Ex 8 connectivity (supports PCI-E short cards)
You can install only PCI-E short-length PCI cards in the lower expansion slot. You can install a full-length expan-
sion card in the upper expansion slot.
