Assigning program names 

Each template has a specific name which is superimposed in the programming screen. To enter a 
name, tap the 

Name

 field and enter a new name using the QIAamplifier 96 keyboard (see chapter 

6.4.1). 

Note

: If a character is pressed, the pre-displayed name will be deleted and a new program name 

can be set. If the program name should be modified, first press another button like delete or space.

Setting the heated lid temperature  

To set the heated lid temperature, tap the 

Lid

 field. A small window opens in the middle of the 

screen with a keyboard (see Figure 20). Enter a value between

 and

 using the QIAamplifier 

96 keyboard. 

Use the corresponding buttons to switch the heated lid on or off.
