Entering a Codex remote transmitter
Enter user programming.
Select 9.
Press # to select.
Keypad displays “Enter remote 1 to add, 2 to delete”.
Press 1
Keypad display “ Enter remote number”
Enter user number o1 to 32, corresponding to the user that the remoter will be identified with.
Keypad displays ”Press a button now ”.
Press any button on the remote transmitter.
Keypad displays “Remote programmed “
Keypad returns to normal operation mode
Repeat for each transmitter
Deleting a codex remote transmitter
Enter user programming.
Select 9.
Press # to select.
Keypad displays “Enter remote 1 to add, 2 to delete”.
Press 2
Keypad displays “Enter number to delete”
Enter remote number 01 to 32
Keypads displays “Press # to delete
Press # key
Keypad displays “Remote removed”
Keypad returns to normal
NOTE
: THE BUTTON FUNCTIONS ON THE REMOTE ARE AN INSTALLER PROGRAMMING FUNCTION
The remote must be programmed from the keypad in the partition in which it is to be used
Partitioning and cross partitioning:
To enter into the cross partition mode, press the * key, followed by valid 4-digit user code.
Keypad displays ”Enter part (1-4)” “0= arm 5= disarm”.
To temporarily place the keypad into a different partition, enter the partition number required.
The keypad will now act as normal in the required partition, provided the user code is authorized in this
partition..
To return to default partition, repeat as above, and select the default partition or if no functions carried
out on the keypad for 120 seconds, the keypad will automatically revert back to the default partition.
Selecting the 0 key will arm all the partitions that user is authorized in simultaneously.
If a partition is not ready, the keypad will switch to that partition and display the faulted zone, rectify or
bypass the zone.
Press * key again followed by 0. All partitions will now arm.
Keypad displays “Armed p? ? ? ? “ “Exit now”.
Selecting the 5 key will disarm all partitions that the user is authorized in.
Viewing partition status:
Press the * key, followed by valid 4-digit user code.
Keypad displays ”Enter part (1-4)” “0 = arm 5 = disarm”.
Enter 9.
Keypad displays ”Armed ? ? ? ? “, “Alarm ? ? ? ? “, indicating the armed partitions and the partitions
that are in an alarm condition.
