The rise and fall times are included in the duration and indicate
the penetration of the start and end of the element tile. The method
of penetration depends on the mode of merging. The rise and fall times
determine the percentage (0 – 100%) of a given element in the process
of calculating the final value at a given moment.
For example, if the cursor is within 1/10 of the rise time of a given
element, then 10% of the channel values for this element and 90% of the
channel values from the layers below are taken.
