During the following steps you should be checking for any leaks, loose
fittings, hot water, cold water and production rate. See next Section-
Final inspection.
Sanitize the cold tank
It is strongly encouraged that all systems are sanitized using a mixture of Hy
-
drogen Peroxide and water prior to placing in the field. Please follow the
follow steps to properly perform this important step.
1. Remove the cold tank lid.
2. Using a mixture of ~30% Hydrogen Peroxide to water, spray the inside of the
tank, lid, floats, and all parts visible parts with a heavy mist of spray.

3. Using a clean towel or paper towel,
wipe the Hydrogen Peroxide away
from the surfaces.
4. Spray a light mist of spray again on all
parts and put the lid back onto the
unit.
5. Allow one tank full of water to full up
and drain a single time.
6. It is strongly encouraged to perform
this step on each annual service call
as well.
