d) Stopping the motor
Wait until the shredder is empty before stopping it as plant matter left in the feeding chute or blade casing
could jam the rotor when restarting the machine.

Warning: because of
rotor inertia, the stop
time is relatively long.

e) Unblocking obstructions (wear gloves)
- disconnect the spark plug cable.
- remove branches from the fee-
ding chute.
- completely unscrew the lever of
the obstruction clearance hatch.
- slightly pivot the door so that
you can pull it and then fully
pivot downwards.
- clear all the plant matter jam-
ming the shredder (check there
is no plant matter in the feeding
chute and discharge chute).
- close the hatch (follow instruc-
tions in reverse). Make sure the
lever is fully screwed back down.
(Impossible to restart the shred-
der if the lever does not press on
the contact switch).
- disconnect the spark plug
cable.
- close off the fuel inlet pipe.
- loosen the 4 M8 nuts holding
the feeding chute while ensu-
ring they remain threaded to
the captive screws.
- lift the feeding chute so that
the nuts pass through the
flange then pull it off.
- replace the protection hatch
and tighten the 2 nuts.
- Place the feeding chute in its
holder using the handle.
