8 Maintenance, cleaning, servicing, disposal
CAUTION
The devices are subject to an annual safety and functional test (maintenance) in
accordance with §7 of the Medical Devices Operator Ordinance "Maintenance of
Medical Devices".
With the optional accessory "smart assist ISO", a metrological test (MTP) is carried out
at intervals of 2 years, in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications.

WARNING
The safety and effectiveness of the equipment can be optimally maintained if the
care and maintenance intervals are observed.
Component Maintenance

Display daily Only use cleaning and disinfection agents suitable for the
display. Do not apply the agent directly, but use a clean
microfiber cloth.
Cushion after training Only use the disinfectants approved by the
manufacturer to disinfect the upholstery.

Cladding
Floormats
Frame parts regular Clean with warm water and a microfiber cloth. Do not
use solvents, chlorides, polishes, chemical cleaners or
wax polishes.
Screws monthly Check externally accessible screws for tightness.
Guide rods monthly Check for sufficient lubrication and lubricate with suitable
maintenance oil.
Castors monthly Check for sufficient lubrication.
