Preparation
5.1
Transport
The units are usually delivered fully assembled by our staff or by freight forwarder.
5.2
Storage
The storage location of the units should be dry, free of seawater and dust-protected and have a storage
temperature b5°C to +45°C. Protect the units from shocks, scratches and moisture.
5.3
Installation
The unit must be set up in a balanced position on a level, impact-resistant surface that can withstand
the load of the unit plus the maximum permissible body weight of 200 kg. If the floor is uneven, a level
surface must be created using suitable shims or heavy-duty plastic. Make sure that the levelling materials
are not susceptible to rust. To compensate for unevenness, the unit has two adjustable feet that can be
adjusted in height.
For damping, we recommend placing rubber buffer material underneath, which can be obtained as an
accessory. In the case of PVC flooring, please note that the rubber plates and adjustable feet may react
with the PVC. In this case, please use appropriate cork boards.
Avoid hard, impact-like touching down of the units.
An important prerequisite for proper functioning of the unit is alignment with a spirit level. The units can
be used free-standing.
Avoid placing the units in heavily frequented rooms or near doors and passageways.
The manufacturer is not liable for transport-related complaints, damage
or missing parts which are not noted in writing on the delivery papers
immediately upon delivery.
