210 Hip Extension right
This machine trains the entire right hip extensor musculature.
Specific patient positioning
Place forearms symmetrically on the pad. Grasp the handles if necessary. Bend the standing leg slightly
and align the foot parallel to the ground mark. Place the foot of the free leg on the movable step surface
so that the tip of the foot is flush with the edge. The upper body, leaning forward, is straight. Actively
stabilize this position by tensing the abdominal and back muscles.
Initiate the movement through the pressure of the sole of the foot and press the leg increasingly, but
not completely. Then return the leg slowly and in a controlled manner to the starting position. The start
of the movement is in front of the standing leg (if there is sufficient mobility).
Avoid knee joint deflection (straight line of movement). Take special care that the pelvis does not deviate
downwards (hollow back) or to the side (sinking, twisting). Make sure that the left leg does not protrude
beyond the central mark line into the range of motion of the right leg.
