Using the product
The Protac SenSit
®
is delivered fully assembled and ready for use
Protac SenSit
®
can be used with the neck wings placed
inside the chair, behind the user’s back and with the side
wings hanging down the side of the chair. This contains
the body, without the user feeling the weight of the wings,
which may be a good start.
When the user is wearing the neck wings, the care
staff/helper may apply light pressure to the shoulder
area to increase the sensory stimulation in the shoulders.
You can move Protac SenSit
®
,
using carrying handles in
the sides.
When using the Protac SenSit
®
for individuals with for
example spasticity, create a recess at the back of the
seat by moving the balls so that the user can sit in a
reclined position further back in the seat.
Protac SenSit
®
can be used with
the neck and/or side wings
placed over the user so he/she
can feel the weight and pressure
of the balls. This leads to a better
sense of the body’s boundaries
and body awareness.
