Attach one hook to
front of vehicle.
Attach the other
hook to rear of
vehicle.
•
Attach ropes to
grab handle
or
rescue bar
and pull tight.
•
Securely tie off ends to create even pressure between front and rear.
•
Bind up and secure excess rope.
Check straps and ropes periodically during travel and tighten if necessary.
Replace any rope that is worn or frayed before using (see your Prorack dealer).
Before driving away
• Test movement by rocking boat.
• Tighten again if loose.
• Read all cauTions and limiTs below.
Failure to secure front and rear of long loads to ends of vehicle
can result in property damage, personal injury, or death.
Secure front and rear of kayak to vehicle.
