bios
It is important to keep the BIOS files up to date. Make sure to check for updates periodically at the PROMISE
website. Go to www.promise.com , click on Support , and select Downloads to see the download selection
menu.
To load the latest BIOS files:
1. Copy BIOS file to a DOS bootable USB storage.
2. Shut down the system you are going to update.
3. Insert the DOS bootable USB storage into an available.
4. Power on the system and press the F7 key when the message appears indicating that you can access
the BIOS Utility.
5. Select the USB storage as the boot device.
6. After booting, access the folder containing the BIOS file.
7. Run FBB.bat (with boot lock) or FB.bat (without boot lock) to start updating. The process will take a few
minutes.
8. A message will inform you when the files are loaded. Then the process is completed.
