Troubleshooting
12.1 Explanation of troubleshooting measures
WARNING!
– Disconnect the system from the supply voltage
before starting work on the OZONFILT
®
OZVb
for troubleshooting or to remedy faults.
– Ensure that the system cannot accidentally be
reconnected to the mains while work on the
system is being carried out.
– Wait at least 5 minutes after the system has
been disconnected from the mains/power
supply before touching components inside the
cabinet.
WARNING!
– For safety reasons, only allow appropriately
qualified and authorised technical personnel to
inspect this system.
– Read the safety information in the "Safety"
chapter once again prior to working on the
OZONFILT
®
OZVb.
WARNING!
Should the ozone gas system have to be opened,
extract the ozone safely from the gas pipes:
– either wait for 24 hours until the ozone has
decomposed naturally
– or run the system with "Production" "0" for 10
minutes so that the ozone is forced out - do not
forget the ozone in the external pipes!
– or pressurise the ozone out of the system
using compressed air applied to the gas inlet -
do not forget the ozone in the external pipes!
The faults listed in the table - - lead to the control switching off the
system.
The delay between detection of the fault and shut-down of the
system depends on the type of fault. During the delay time, the
associated error message flashes at the bottom. The system shuts
down gradually:
1 - The high voltage supply is switched off.
The system continues to run for some time without ozone
being generated. This removes residual ozone from the
system.
2 - All the solenoid valves on the pneumatic branch line close.
3 - The relevant message appears on the touch panel.
The control monitors every analogue measured variable within the
system at different stages. There is generally a warning threshold
and a switching-off threshold.
If a
‘warning threshold’ is transgressed, the controller displays a
warning message on the touch panel - the system continues to run.
