‘PAUSE’ mode has not been activated externally,
n
the system has not been enabled by the existence of additional
locking contacts (process water flow rate, gas detector)
n
and there are no other faults.
When the system is started up for the first time, the
required ozone volume ( ‘Control variable’ display)
is pre-set to 0%.
As soon as the [START/STOP] key is pressed, the
system switches to normal operating status without
ozone generation (high voltage switched off).
The control variable must be at least 3% to switch
on ozone generation.
10.6 Important system statuses
10.6.1 "Start with ozone generation" operating status
The system is in
‘Start with ozone generation’ operating status if
n
it has not been switched to
‘PAUSE’ operating status by an
external
‘PAUSE’ signal,
n
a control variable of 3% or more has been set,
n
the system has not been stopped by pressing the
[STOP] key
on the touch panel and
n
there is no alert reporting a fault requiring acknowledgement
displayed on the touch panel.
10.6.2 "Start without ozone generation" operating status
The system operates in normal operating status if a control vari‐
able of less than 3% has been set:
n
gas flow rate available
n
cooling water flow rate available
n
raw water flow rate available
n
the high voltage required for ozone generation is switched off –
no ozone is generated.
n
in this operating status, the operating signal relay is not acti‐
vated!
If the
‘control variable’ is increased to a display value of 3% or
more, then ozone generation is switched on automatically without
further action!
10.6.3 "Fault" operating status
Once a fault has occurred, the system is switched to
‘STOP’ oper‐
ating status by the controller.
At the same time
n
the gas inlet and outlet are closed
n
each cooling water inlet is closed by a solenoid valve
n
the high voltage required for ozone generation is switched off
