Scenting via HVAC System
Step 11: Installing the Airflow Switch
1. The air-flow switch must be installed on a vertical plane at a distance of between 6-12” above the
appliance.
2. Using installation template mark 2# location holes.
3. Drill 2# 1/8” dia. pilot holes.
4. Locate step drill within left-hand pilot hole. Drill 1# 11/16” dia. mounting hole therein.
5. Holding the device in one hand as illustrated, insert dual tubular feature at its rear into the 13/16” dia.
hole. Applying constant pressure, press device toward ductwork until incorporated snap features firmly
engage the duct wall.
6. With device snap-assembled to ductwork, insert mounting screw through positioning loop at right
hand of device into pre-drilled pilot hole and secure.
