Stopping down the unit
Due to the specificity of CO2, if the machine should be shut down, certain special measures
must be observed.
Indeed, the operating pressure of the machines as standard allows a maximum pressure of 80
bars during the extended shutdown phases, in particular on the BT part
It is strongly advised to recover a maximum of fluid from the circuit by storing it in the entire
HP side (Gas Cooler, Liquid vessel and Liquid Line), taking care not to overflow the liquid
from the tank through the pressure holding valves MP .
Re-starting the unit after an extended stop
Take the same measures as for the first commissioning.
Cleaning
Coils should preferably be cleaned with:
– Compressed air
– By brushing it with non-metallic materials
Avoid all aggressive detergents which may cause eventual corrosion.
