11. EC-Declaration of Conformity
pro-emit UG declares that the product SUNFLOW Plant Lighting is in compliance with
Directives 2004/108/EC and 2006/95/EC.

12. Disposal
As the owner of old appliances, you are legally obliged to dispose of this appliance in a
professional manner. Information can be obtained from your city or municipality admin-
istration.
13. Manufacturer warranty
pro-emit products have been tested and are manufactured with the utmost care. The
guarantor, pro-emit UG, Schwertfegerstraße 9, 31185 Söhlde (for Germany) or the cor-
responding pro-emit distributor in your country (a complete overview can be found at
www.pro-emit.de) assumes a guarantee on manufacturing/material defects of the pro-
emit UG devices for the duration of five years from the date of manufacture.
This warranty is applicable to the seller of the device, irrespective of your statutory rights.
This warranty does not apply to natural wear, alterations/malfunctions caused by en-
vironmental influences or transport damage, nor does the warranty apply to damage
caused by non-compliance with the Operating Manual, maintenance instructions and/or
improper installation. Supplied batteries, lamps and rechargeable batteries are excluded
from the guarantee.
The guarantee can only be granted if the unaltered device is sent to the guarantor im-
mediately after the defect has been identified. The invoice/receipt as well as a brief writ-
ten error description must be submitted. Appropriate postage must be applied to the
package.
If guarantee claim is legitimate, the guarantor will, at his discretion, repair or replace the device
within a reasonable period of time. The guarantee does not cover any further claims. In par-
ticular, the guarantor is not liable for damages resulting from the defectiveness of the device.
If the warranty is not justifiable (for example, after expiration of the war-
ranty period or in the event of defects not covered by the guarantee
claim), the guarantor may attempt to repair the device in a cost-effective
manner at a reasonable price
