4. Explanation of symbols and inscriptions
This symbol is used in this Operating Manual if there is a health risk,
e.g. due to electrical shock.
This symbol indicates particular dangers or important
information that must be observed.
Compliance with the Operating Manual is mandatory.
5. Safety instructions
In case of damage to this product due to non-compliance with these
operating instructions shall make any guarantee claim and the war-
ranty null and void. We shall not be held liable for consequential dam-
ages due to non-compliance with the aforementioned instructions.
The same applies to property dam-
age and personal injury caused by improper
handling and non-compliance with the safety instructions.
Improper and unprofessional handling of volt-
age is dangerous to you and other persons.
There is a risk of fatal injuries due to electric shock!
The lamp may only be operated if attached to a suitable hanger as-
sembly. The lamp must be secured to prevent it from dropping to the
floor.
The lamp must not be altered, disassembled or changed in any way.
Not only will this cause the guarantee and approval (CE) to cease, any
changes to the lamp may lead to safety problems. Moreover, there is a
risk of fatal injury due to electric shock!
