CUTTING TECHNIQUE
Test the optimal cutting temperature and
speed on a test piece. Under optimal condi
-
tions, cutting is virtually smoke-free.
If the temperature is too high, the blade will
bend and the device will overheat. To lower
the temperature, momentarily release the on/
off button during the cut.
The blade stays clean, if you release the on/
off switch about 3 to 5 centimetres before the
cutting edge.
CLEANING, STORAGE, TRANSPORT,
MAINTENANCE
Disconnect the device from the power source before
cleaning, storage, maintenance or transport. Failure to
observe these instructions could result in electric shocks,
fires, injuries and/or damage.
CLEANING
The (material) - residues must not get into the
device, otherwise the device will be damaged
by overheating. Completely remove any resi
-
due. Do not use running water or solvents for
this.
STORAGE
Loosen screw connections, store dry and out
of the reach of children.
TRANSPORT
Remove application tools, stow away safely.
The undamaged battery with taped contacts
must sit firmly in the packaging. Lithium-
ion batteries are subject to legislation on the
transport of dangerous goods. Obey these re
-
gulations.

DISPOSAL
Do not dispose of power tools
and batteries in household
waste or in the environment /
natural waters.
For EU countries, the directives 2012/19/EU
and 2006/66/EG apply. According to this gui
-
deline, power tools and batteries must be
collected separately and reused in an envi
-
ronmentally friendly manner. Disposal points
can be found in specialist shops and at the
manufacturer Pro Bauteam. Dispose of the
packaging in the household waste. If devices
contain personal data, delete it. Make de
-
vices unusable by removing the power cord.

RISK OF EQUIPMENT DAMAGE DUE TO
OVERHEATING:
Do not burn any residue on
the blade. An overheated blade can warp and
overheat the device.
RISK OF FIRE AND INJURY!
The application
tool (the blade) does not get cold at the same
time as the device is switched off! Before pla
-
cing the device on the fireproof surface, you
must switch off or release the on/off switch
and wait for the blade to cool down.
