CAUTION
Risk of scalding!
Heating the liquid can cause
so-called ‘delayed boiling’.
The liquid then reaches boil-
ing temperature without any
outward visible sign of boil-
ing. Even a small vibration
may cause the liquid to sud-
denly spray out, for example
when removing it from the
microwave oven.
■
To avoid delayed boiling,
place a plastic or glass
spoon in the container.
The spoon must be at least
2 cm away from the interior
walls of the microwave at
all times.
■
Do not use tall, thin con-
tainers with a narrow top
section.
■
Please ensure you stir the
food before eating and af-
ter half the cooking time
has elapsed.
■
Please wait a short moment
after heating up; carefully
tip the dish and stir before
removing the container
from the cooking chamber.
■
Warming up drinks in the
microwave can cause sub-
sequent boiling-over (de-
layed boiling). Take care,
therefore, when handling
the container.
■
The contents of feeding
bottles and baby food jars
shall be stirred or shak-
en, and the temperature
checked before consump-
tion in order to avoid burns.
Improper handling of the mi-
crowave may lead to burns.
During use, the microwave
and its touchable parts be-
come very hot. The grill (at
the top of the cooking cham-
ber) will be very hot after use
in grill, convection or combi
mode and the grill rack/glass
tray may become very hot.
