The PRINCESS TOASTER PIANO BLACK is the perfect way to toast 2 slices of bread at the same time.
The adjustable browning level and the built-in bread rack with a handle on the side make this toaster a
highly practical appliance. Plug this toaster only into an earthed outlet.
TIPS FOR USE
The PRINCESS TOASTER PIANO BLACK can be adjusted at the touch of a button, producing slightly
browned toast through to dark brown. To achieve the degree of browning desired, you can experiment with
the setting. The condition of the bread is also a factor. Dry or stale bread toasts more quickly, fresh and
frozen bread take a little longer. The serving handle will only lock in place when the appliance is plugged in.
Do not use a knife, fork or other utensil to remove the bread from the toaster or to clean the toaster.
If the bread becomes lodged in the toaster, unplug the appliance before attempting to remove it.
There are three lights on the front of the appliance:
• The power light; this is lit while the toaster is switched on.
• Reheat button with indicator light – the light goes on when the button is depressed. The reheat button is
used to heat up the toast if it has been allowed to go cold.
• Frozen button with indicator light – the light goes on when the button is depressed. The frozen button
is for toasting bread directly from the freezer. By pressing the button, you can extend the toasting time
by approx. 30 seconds.
TOASTING
Bread can be toasted as follows:
- Place bread in the toaster.
- Set the desired browning level
- Push the large handle downwards,
- You can interrupt the toasting by pressing the 'cancel' button.
French bread can be fitted into the extra wide slots (cut in half first).
The built-in rack can also be used for rolls and French bread.
When the bread is ready, the toaster pops up automatically.
CLEANING
ALWAYS UNPLUG THE APPLIANCE BEFORE CLEANING.
Clean the toaster after each use. This prevents leftover food from becoming encrusted in the appliance.
Let the PRINCESS TOASTER PIANO BLACK cool down after use.
Pull the crumb tray out from beneath the appliance and remove any crumbs or leftover bread. Clean the
exterior with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive or strong detergents.
NEVER IMMERSE THE TOASTER IN WATER OR ANY OTHER LIQUID.
PRINCESS TIPS
- This toaster is only suitable for household use.
- Make sure the cord or extension cord is carefully positioned so as to prevent anyone
tripping over it.
- If the toaster or cord is damaged, we advise you not to use the appliance but to take it to
the retailer for repair. Damaged cords can only be replaced by the Princess service department.
- Do not use this toaster outdoors.
- Ensure children do not use the toaster unsupervised.
- Plug this appliance only into an earthed outlet.
- Allow the toaster to cool down before putting it away.
- Do not place the toaster on a damp or hot surface.
