PRINCESS TIPS
- This toaster is only suitable for household use.
- Make sure that the cord, or extension cord if necessary, is placed where no one can stumble over it and
away from the hotplates.
- With this type of appliance, a damaged cable should only be replaced by our service department or
similarly qualified persons in order to prevent danger.
- Do not use this toaster outdoors.
- Ensure children do not use the toaster unsupervised. The plates and the metal exterior can get very hot.
Of course be careful yourself, as well. Allow the toaster to cool down completely before tidying it away.
- Plug this appliance only into an earthed outlet.
- The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-control
system.
- The accessible surfaces will become hot while the appliance is in operation.
- This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capacities or lack of experience and knowledge unless they have been given supervision or
instruction on the use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
- Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.
U.K. WIRING INSTRUCTIONS
The wires in the mains lead are coloured in accordance with the following code:
BLUE NEUTRAL
BROWN LIVE
GREEN/YELLOW EARTH
As the colours of the wire in the mains lead of this appliance may not correspond with the colour
markings identifying the terminals on your plug, proceed as follows:
The wire which is coloured BLUE must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the
letter N or coloured black.
The wire which is coloured BROWN must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the
letter L or coloured red.
The wire which is coloured GREEN/YELLOW must be connected to the terminal which is marked with
the letter E or and is coloured GREEN or GREEN/YELLOW
With this appliance, if a 13 amp plug is used a 5 amp fuse should be fitted. If any other type of plug is
used a 15 amp fuse must be fitted either in the plug or at the distribution board.

Le Princess Croque Monsieur est idéal pour préparer rapidement un délicieux croque-monsieur au
fromage ou au jambon. Le revêtement antiadhésif des plaques de cuisson évite d'attacher et est facile
à nettoyer. Avec ses voyants lumineux de contrôle et son thermostat automatique, le Princess Croque
Monsieur est un appareil très pratique et facile à utiliser.
Avant d’utiliser l’appareil pour la première fois, nous vous conseillons d'essuyer les
plaques de cuisson avec un chiffon humide et, le cas échéant, d'enlever les étiquettes.
UTILISATION DE L’APPAREIL
Graissez légèrement les plaques de cuisson avec du beurre, de la graisse, de l’huile ou un
produit équivalent. Brancher la fiche dans la prise de courant (le voyant « power »
s’allume) et fermer le Princess Croque Monsieur. L'appareil chauffe en 5 minutes environ.
Vous pouvez préparer entre-temps le croque-monsieur. Le voyant de température « ready »
s'éteint lorsque les plaques ont atteint la température requise.
