COMFORT ADJUSTMENTS
After becoming familiar with your power chairs operation, you may find the need to make some adjustments to increase
your comfort, such as seat height, armrest width, foot platform height and angle, and controller position. Use the steps
below to make comfort adjustments.
WARNING! If your power chair was configured by your authorized Pride Provider, please consult your
healthcare professional before changing the seat position or making any other adjustment. Some
adjustments may degrade your power chairs performance and safety by changing its center of gravity.
WARNING! Some power chair components are heavy. You may need assistance to lift or carry
them. Please refer to the specifications table for specific component weights before you
disassemble the power chair.
WARNING! Prevent injury. Remove the occupant from the power chair before making any
adjustments.
Seat Height Adjustment
You can adjust the seat to two different heights in 1-in. in-
crements. Seat height adjustment requires the removal of
the center shroud.
To change the seat height:
1. Turn off power to the controller. See VII. Operation.
2. Remove the seat.
3. Turn the rear shroud fasteners one-quarter turn and remove
the rear shroud. See figure 6.
4. Unplug the motor connectors and the charger inhibit from the
power pod. See figure 7.
5. Unplug the battery connector.
6. Remove the retaining pin and lift the foot platform assembly
off of the power base. See figure 16.
7. Turn the yellow fastener and remove the center shroud.
8. Loosen the bolt on the seat post collar. See figure 14.
9. Remove the seat pedestal bolt.
10. Reposition the seat pedestal to the desired height.
11. Reinstall the seat pedestal bolt.
12. Reinstall the center shroud.
13. Reinstall the foot platform assembly.
14. Reinstall the seat.
15. Plug the motor connectors and the charger inhibit connector
into the power pod.
16. Reconnect the battery connector.

17. Place the power pod back into the power base. See figure 12.
NOTE: You must place the power pod into the power base before the battery connector. This will ensure a
proper fit.
18. Place the battery connector back into the power base. See figure 13.
19. Reinstall the rear shroud and the seat.
