Assembly Instructions
Step 5 – Tank Weldment
Screw finger-tight (1) Return Line Filter Head onto hydraulic tank
return port.
NOTE: the arrow on filter head should point towards the
tank.
Wrench-tighten the fitting to 1.5-3.0 turns past “finger tight” position.
Consider final orientation position as to not exceed the recommended
TPFT. Properly assembled fittings total thread engagement should be
3.5-6 turns.
CAUTION: Never back off an installed pipe fitting to achieve proper
alignment. Loosening installed pipe fittings will corrupt the seal and
contribute to leakage and failure.
Screw finger-tight (1) Return Line Filter Canister onto bottom of
return line filter head until gasket makes contact. Tighten filter an
additional 1/2 turn.
