INSTALLATION
Install Truck Leveler
leveler on to the hydraulic trunnions and the rear
hinge trunnion weldment.(FIG# 5)

17. Anchor the power unit in place, using 3/8 x 3 an-
chor bolts, torque the bolts to the vendor specifica-
tions.
18. Mount the control box .
19. Complete the wiring of the motor and field
connections as per drawings supplied.
20. Verify that the reservoir is full.
12. Using the pins provided connect the platform to
the hinge trunnions weldment (Fig #6).
13. Level the platform using the "T" bars. Turn "T"
bars clockwise all the way in then turn counter
clock wise to level the platform left to right.
14. Install the straps on the cylinder trunnions.
15. Disconnect the lifting devices.
16. Locate the power unit and mount the power unit
per the drawing supplied with the unit.

NOTE: To ensure normal operation of the truck
leveler, use only Aircraft Hydraulic Fluid designed to
meet or exceed military specification MIL-H-5606-G. It
is recommended that the following hydraulic fluids be
used:
• Ultra Vis Hvi 15
• Aero Shell Fluid 4 or Fluid 41
• Mobile Aero HFA Mil-H5606 G or Aero HF
• Texaco Aircraft Hydraulic Oil 15 or 5606
• Exxon Univis J13
21. These fluid brands can be mixed together.
Mixing with fluids that do not meet or exceed
MIL-H-5606-G may damage the equipment and
WILL void warranty. Use of hydraulic fluids with
equivalent specifications to those listed here are
acceptable.
22. Check all hose routing are secured. Inspect for
leaks on all hose connections.
23. When all welding has been completed, paint all
the welds and shims.
