2) Removing the Circuit Breaker from the
Test/Disconnect Position out of the Circuit
Breaker Compartment

Prior to removing the circuit breaker from the
circuit breaker compartment, make sure that
the control circuits are deenergized.

Prior to removing the circuit breaker from
the circuit breaker compartment, ensure
the stored energy mechanism is in the open
position and all springs are discharged.
a. While holding the front cover handles
(Figure 1, b), depress the test position
interlock (Figure 1, p) and remove the
circuit breaker from the circuit breaker
compartment.
b. The main closing spring will discharge
as you are removing the circuit breaker
from the compartment if the circuit
breaker is charged and/or closed.
3) Removing the Circuit Breaker with Test Plug

Prior to removing the circuit breaker from the
circuit breaker compartment, make sure that
the control circuits are deenergized.

Prior to removing the circuit breaker from
the circuit breaker compartment, ensure
the stored energy mechanism is in the open
position and all springs are discharged.
a. Unlock the test plug disconnect latch
(Figure 11, e) by moving it to the right.
b. Lift the test plug interlock device
(Figure 11, a).
c. Remove the female end of the test
plug jumper from the circuit breaker
test plug receptacle (Figure 1, e).
Keeping the male end connected to the
compartment, set the female end of the
jumper to the left side.
d. Reinstall the test plug receptacle boot,
completely covering the test plug
receptacle.
e. OPTIONAL - remove the male end of the
test plug jumper from the compartment
mounted test umbilical receptacle
(Figure 11, b).
f. While holding the front cover handles
(Figure 1, b), depress the test position
interlock (Figure 1, p) and remove the
circuit breaker from the circuit breaker
compartment.
