Put out of operation
Before switching off the machine, depressurise all hydraulic functions
by placing all control levers in the neutral position.

Before switching off the machine always bring the lower splitting knife section together
with the upper splitting knife section to prevent damage to the gas spring (piston rod) or its
seal (rust, ice, etc.).
Switching off the machine
Driven by electric motor (Type E)
Type E5.5
▪ Move the switch to the 0 position.
Driven by tractor via universal joint shaft (type PZG)
▪ Disengage the universal joint shaft on the tractor.
– Before disengaging, turn the manual throttle to minimum.
Driven by the tractor's hydraulic system (type PS)
▪ Turn the control valve on the tractor to the “Off” position.
Driven by tractor with shaft-mounted pump (type PZ)
▪ Disengage the universal joint shaft on the tractor.
– Before disengaging, turn the manual throttle to minimum.
