Q: I am using an ATA-66 (or 100) hard drive, how can I know that ATA-66
function is started?
A: You need to use the 80-pin ATA-66 IDE flat cable to have this function ready.
During POST, you can see ATA-66 (or 100) message while hard drive is being
detected. Besides, after Microsoft series OS installation successfully, you must
install ATA-66/100 driver, then the function can be active.
Q: The system can’t boot up normal, but I make sure everything is connected
correctly. How can solve this problem?
A: Please try to clear CMOS on the jumper (JP5) from pin 1-2 to 2-3, then move back
the jumper to pin 1-2.
Q: What kinds of information I should provide to Portwell Technical center if I
encountered technical problem.?
A: Please provide product model, BIOS version, board reversion, symptom of the
problem, system behavior and equipment you have used, or more detail
information to Portwell technical center
