This manual describes in detail the Portwell PEB-7710VLA Embedded System Board.
This manual aims to provide all necessary information to users who may interest in
using all PEB-7710VLA’s functions.
Please be aware that it is possible to create configurations within the CMOS RAM
that make booting impossible. If this should happen, clear the CMOS settings, (see
the description of the Jumper Settings for details).
We strongly recommend that you study this manual carefully before attempting to
alter PEB-7710VLA’s configurations. In the case, something in this manual is not

PEB-7710VLA is Portwell’s answer to a low cost, off-the-shelf, Point-of-Sale (POS)
applied computing platform powered by Intel Pentium

4 processor or Intel
Celeron

processor. It utilize the Embedded ATX (EmbATX) form factor and have a
feature set targeted at the POS market, but could be used for many other vertical
markets as well. It provides innovative, high integration, high quality Embedded
System Board to fulfill the embedded computing market.
The board is based on Intel 852GME chipset and latest high performance processor,

processor, running at up to 3.06GHz with 533Mhz
Process system bus that built on Intel
®
0.13 micron processor technology and later of
90nm process technology Prescott processor in H2/2003. With Intel 852GME chipset
that support high speed ECC DDR SDRAM, high-performance graphic controller
AGP 4X controller with dual display/Panel and one Intel fast/gigabit Ethernet
connection enable Portwell’s PEB-7710VLA to provide most versatile Embedded
System Board (ESB) in the market.
All in all, PEB-7710VLA is designed to meet all kind of embedded computing
application including POS, ATM, Kiosk, Transaction Terminal and Medical
equipment.
