2.6 Half size Mini-mSATA module Installation
The Mini-mSATA module is supported on FUDA3 Series Panel PC.
It needs to open top Heatsink first and them can install Mini-mSATA module on
Mother board. After finishing Mini-mSATA module installation, please kindly make
sure JP4 is still kept on Pin1-2.
*Note: JP4 is jumper switch between Mini-PCIe and Mini-mSATA signal.
Default setting: Pin1-2 is for Mini-mSATA
1.Unscrew the IPC back cover to detach it 2. Remove the IPC back cover
3. J2 is Half-size Mini-PCIe socket for
Mini-SATA module or Half-size
Mini-PCIe module use. The default of
JP4
is stay on Pin 1-2 (SATA signal)
4. Adopt 128GB Mini-SATA module for
demonstration.
5. Insert Mini-SATA module into the
socket and then screw it
6. Check Mini-mSATA module is detected
successfully by BIOS change SATA
Drive Type depending on Storage type.
