Removing a belt

Before carrying out this procedure, ensure the machine is
turned off, the cooking plates are cold and the machine has
been unplugged from the power source.

Open the front door of the machine.

Remove the crumb tray (with the rubber wiper), which is
located just above the control box (Fig. 1).

Pull both heater plate brackets slightly forward and unclip the
white anti-rollers one at a time with it’s corresponding belt that
is being changed. (Fig. 2). Allow the anti-rollers to hang
below the belt roller (as shown, Fig. 3).

5 Loosen the belt by sliding the belt tensioning lever from the
right to the left (Fig. 4), moving it from its normal operating
position to its maintenance position.
