DANGER OF BURNS
Identification hot areas
:
1
– connections and steam hose
2
– boiler drain
3
– condensate recovery tank (if equipped)
4
– condensate recovery tank-pump tube
(if equipped)
The hot areas 3 and 4 are covered with insulating
material to avoid burns in case of accidental contact;
do not remove them and use the steam generator
only with this material in place, replace when
damaged.
During functioning and until the steam generator is
completely cooled, do not touch the hot areas with
bare hands. Turn the steam tap/knob using insulating
gloves for the heat.
Do not touch the steam jet with the hands and do not
direct it towards people, animals, things and electric
parts of the surroundings and of the generator.
BOILER
Use fresh water from a clean water supply and do not
introduce any other liquids.
DO NOT USE PURIFIED,
SWEETENED OR PERFUMED WATER.
The reference values for the water to use:
- average water hardness: 10÷17°f (7÷12°I).
- neutral water: 7÷8,5pH.
SERVICE DEVICE
BOILER
Working pressure switch:
it’s behind the pressure
gauge and keeps the
working pressure inside the
boiler keeeping the
functioning of the heat under
control.
Level probes:
They’re in the boiler
and control water
levels in the boiler.
CONDENSATE RECOVERY TANK
(if equipped)
Level probe:
It’s in the tank and controls
water levels in the tank.
Working thermostat:
It is outside the condensate
recovery tank and keeps the
internal temperature values
below the standard allowed by
adding cold water.
SAFETY DEVICE
BOILER
Safety pressure switch:
it’s behind the pressure gauge
and keeps the working
pressure inside the boiler,
stopping the functioning of the
heater; for the functioning see
“Safeties operation concerning
over-pressure and over-
temperature”.
Safety valve:
It’s on the boiler and
releases steam, when the
pressure switches cannot
keep the pressure values
below the standards
allowed.
