Polti Bioecologico, the natural, perfumed
anti-foam deodorant which, in addition to
releasing a pleasant perfume, prevents the
formation
of
foam
in
the
water
filter,
guaranteeing the correct operation of the
appliance. (For more details, please refer to
the chapter on Polti Bioecologico).
1.7 Reinsert the filter unit in the water
container (M). Close the container handle
making sure that it is properly attached.

Reposition
the
water
container
proceeding
in
the
reverse
manner
as
previously described, making sure that the air
passage tube in the water filter unit coincides
with the connection on the machine.
1.9 Reposition the lid (D), so that the two
levers on the cover match the relative
positions on the machine, rotating it until it is
locked.
1.2 DETERGENT PREPARATION
• Open the cable winding hooks (N) (Pic. 12).
• Insert the detergent rack (C) in the appro-
priate spaces (Pic. 12).
• Fill the tank with suitably diluted detergent
and place it in the rack (C).
• Insert the detergent tank cap with suction
tube by screwing it carefully (Pic. 13).
• Insert the self-priming tube inside the hole
on the cap (Pic. 13).
1.3 DETERGENT (not supplied):
Consult the label, the data sheets and the
safety sheets of the substances or detergents
paying attention to the hazard pictograms,
the warnings, the indications and the pru-
dence advice. Do not use foaming substances
or detergents.
Do not use substances or detergents contain-
ing substances bearing hazard pictograms:
explosive,
combustible,
flammable,
toxic,
harmful, corrosive, irritant, sensitising, car-
cinogenic, mutagenic, toxic for reproduction,
hazardous for the environment.
Never mix together substances and/or deter-
gents.
2. USE FUNCTIONS
The functions of the appliance (steam clean-
ing, vacuuming, detergent and the combined
functions) must be set according to the type
of optional accessories that you decide to
use.
For the optional accessories containing a
flexible hose (1; 9) open the door of the built-
in socket; insert the built-in plug pushing it
(Pic. 6), without pressing the button, until the
hooking mechanism clicks, then check that it
is tight. To disconnect the built-in plug from
the appliance, press the button and pull the
plug to remove it from the appliance.
Completely unwind the power cable and con-
nect it to an appropriate mains socket (Pic.
7). Always use the product with the cord
completely unwound.
2.1 STEAM FUNCTION
It is possible to use this function with: the
Steam & Vacuuming Kit PAEU0375 (chap.
9.1),
the
Vaporflexi
Brush
Steam
Kit
PAEU0377 (chap. 9.2), the Steam Mop
accessory PAEU0257 (chap. 9.15).
• Press the main switch (Z) below the control
panel. The first level of suction indicators
(T) will start to flash.
• Press the boiler ON switch (W). The boiler
ON indicator (S) will light up.
• Wait for the pressure indicator (Q) to light
up.
• Ensure that the steam lock on the handle is
deactivated (1 ; 9).
• Press the steam request button on the han-
dle to release steam (1 ; 9).
2.2 VACUUM FUNCTION
It is possible to use this function with: the
Steam & Vacuuming Kit PAEU0375 (cap. 9.1).
Press the main switch (Z) below the control
panel. The first level of suction indicators (T)
will start to flash.
WARNING: Inserting the water filter collec-
tor incorrectly can cause a reduction in suc-
tion power.
WARNING: Do not release steam if the indi-
cator (Q) is off, wait for it to light up, so that
the system is stabilised thereby enabling
maximum performance.
The detergent switch indicator (B) should be
green.
WARNING: Any failure caused by the use of
detergents that do not comply with the
above will be excluded from warranty.
WARNING: The first time it is used, drops of
water may leak out. This is due to an imper-
fect thermal stabilisation within the sheath.
We therefore recommend directing the first
jet of steam onto a cloth, until a uniform jet
is obtained.
