4. Drill a hole in casing at the distance of
50 mm from end of insulation for
foaming of the components. Use it for
pressure testing the casing after
welding process is complete.
5. Shrink the casing on the jacket pipe,
100-120 mm, use a 40-60 mm burner
head and ensure that the flame is
blue with yellow tip
6. Casing is ready for the welding.
7. Place welding band over previously
shrinked casing.
8. Bend the terminals at 45 away from

9. Connect the cables from the welding
computer
to
the welding
band
termin

ls. If both welding bands are
to be welded at the same time
connect the overjumper cable.
10. After choosing the correct jacket pipe
dimension on the welding computer
and pressing START, the welding is
done automatically.
11. Pressure test the casing at 0.2 bar
over-pressure and test with a liquid
lead detector.
12. Drill additional hole for air release
and if necessary, additional hole for
foaming.
13. Foaming of the joint with PUR components should be performed according to
connection montage Type 1 step 11 and Type 2 steps 10-17.
