E) The Automist Smartscan Controls
STOP Button: Pressing the STOP button during a fire condition will stop the Automist Smartscan pump for 2
minutes. If at the end of 2 minutes, an alarm input remains active, Automist Smartscan will recommence mist
operation. If the alarm condition has ended, Automist Smartscan will return to stand-by.
In error conditions, pressing the STOP button temporarily hushes the error sounds.
In the SYSTEM OK stand-by, the STOP button may be used to enter ALARM TEST MODE. ALARM TEST MODE is
activated by pressing the STOP button once. The SYSTEM OK LED with then start flashing green on and off
–
this
indicates that ALARM MODE is activated. In this mode you have a short time to test alarms in the home without
activating Automist Smartscan. ALARM MODE is deactivated by pushing the STOP button again; this will be
confirmed by the SYSTEM OK LED returning to constantly lit green. Note: if you do not deactivate ALARM MODE,
the system will automatically disable it after 5 minutes.
ALARM LED: Lit red to indicate an ALARM condition.
FAULT LED: Lit yellow to indicate a fault. Please refer to the troubleshooting guide. N.B. When Automist Smartscan
is powered up for the first time the yellow FAULT LED will flash twice to indicate the system has not been
commissioned
SYSTEM OK LED: Lit green when the system is OK and on stand-by.
