User’s Manual of ICS-10x

When DHCP Client is set to Enable, the IP Address, Subnet Mask, Gateway and DNS fields are not 
allow to be changed.  

If the ICS-10x is set to DHCP Client enable, you can use 

PLANET  Smart  Discovery

 or 

PLANET 

VCOM Utility

 to search the ICS-10x which with DHCP assigned IP address. 

 

4.4 Operation Mode 

The ICS-10x make connected Serial equipment becomes IP-based. That also makes them be able to connect to a TCP/IP 
networking immediately. The ICS-10x allow traditional Computer/Client COM ports access to a serial equipment 
anywhere on the Ethernet LAN network.
