Warning
Ensure that a pressure relief valve has been fitted between outlet and inlet of pump 1 (2) . This is to
ensure that in the event of the cryoprotectant freezing, the pumps will not overpressurise the
system and cause a leak of fluid. The pressure relief valve should be set to less than the rated
tubing pressure and no more than 1.24 bar ( 18 psi).
Note
The following steps should be undertaken using aseptic technique.
1. Connect the injection line (10) to the inlet port of the condyle container (4) and the extraction line
(11) to the outlet shown below.
2. Connect the pressure relief line (7) to the relief port on the condyle container lid. Note that with
some carriers, the pressure relief port may be on the base of the container. Refer to the container
documentation for details.
