2.1 Introduction

The PPC series flat screen PC contains the PPCMB-CX700 motherboard. The

motherboard is the heart of any computer and is responsible for transmitting, receiving

and processing data as well as driving the different onboard devices. This chapter gives a

brief introduction to the PPCMB-CX700 motherboard.

2.2 CPU Support

The PPCMB-CX700 motherboard comes with a preinstalled VIA C7

or VIA Eden

CPU.
