7.12 MACROS
Each key of the
Crystalio II
Remote Control is preconfigured to perform certain tasks. Using the Macro
configuration screens it is possible to change the function of these keys. This allows custom commands
to be sent to
Crystalio II
, which may make operation more efficient in your particular system. There are
over 180 functions to choose from and pressing a single key can perform up to 10 at once.
There are also 20
Virtual Keys
available that can be configured in the same way. These keys can then
be added to a programmable third party remote control.
In the
Macro Definition
page, all the keys that can be redefined are shown according to their location
on the remote control.
In order to redefine the function of a key:
Step 1:
Select the key in the
Macro Definition
page and press
OK
.
Step 2:
The
Macro Definition
edit page is shown for the selected key.
Step 3:
You can now assign a name to the macro in the
Macro Name
field.
Step 4:
The function of the key can be specified by a list of ordered commands (max. 10). Commands can be
selected by selecting from the
Groups
and then
Subgroups
menus, and finally, selecting a command
from the
Command
box.
