Modification 11 – FIREWALL PROTECTION INSTALLATION
a. Perform steps 68 to 78 in [3].
Modification 12 – RUDDER PEDALS REINSTALLATION.
a. Place the Template made in step 00-n on the seat-pan and mark the drill holes (Figure
12-001).
b. Drill the bigger holes with Ø 8,5 and smaller ones with Ø4 drill bit (Figure 12-001).

c. Install the bent tube into the insert, 30 mm to the fwd side (Figure 12-002). Cut the
tube right aft of the insert and install the insert into the seat pan using Loctite 243,
bolts, washers and polistop nuts (Figure 12-003).
d. Install the insert in the upper hole and insert the second PVC tube into the insert 30
cm into the seat pan (Figure 12-004).
e. Apply Loctite 406 on the PVC tube to insert joint, wait for it to dry and cut the remain of
the tube above the insert (Figure 12-004).
f. Place the rudder pedals to its designated location and drill Ø6 holes for pedals base
retaining bolts.
NOTE: Make sure the seat pan floor and the pedal adjustable base top surface are parallel
g. Apply Loctite 243 to the drilled holes for the pedal adjustable base in the seat pan and
using the nuts, washers and bolts install the pedals to the seat pan (Figure 12-004).
h. Prepare the springs (P/N 1128056) and inspect the holes for pedal position springs in
the fuselage belly. If they were altered/covered during the fuselage belly repairs use
the template from the step 00-n and redrill them.
i. Fasten the springs angles (P/N 11072007) to the fuselage belly under the seat pan
with M4x10 (P/N 5010029) and polistop nuts (P/N 5011032).
