Selectable Listening Modes
You can select a variety of listening modes to suit the audio
format of the signal being input.
•
The Stereo mode can be selected with any audio
format.
•
When analog signals are being input in the Pure Direct
mode, the modes switches to the Analog Direct mode
which passes signals directly to the amplifier without
passing through the DSP (Digital Signal Processor).
However, when you are using Speaker B, the listening
mode suited to the input signal is selected automatically.
•
Listening modes available when headphones are
connected are Pure Direct and Stereo only.
■
Updating of listening modes
We plan to provide support for the DTS:X audio format
through firmware updates for this unit. This means that
the selectable listening modes depend on the version of
firmware.
On firmware version before DTS:X support
•
You can select Neo:6 Cinema and Neo:6 Music.
On firmware version after DTS:X support
•
You can select DTS:X and DTS Neural:X. (You cannot
select Neo:6 Cinema and Neo:6 Music after updating.)
