Connecting to 480P monitor
Component connection
This Digital Tuner can be connected to a high-
definition television that accepts component signal

) input to achieve higher quality images.
• Use the color luminance signal input terminals on the televi-
sion. See the operation manual of your television for details.
• Set the DTV-OUT switch on the rear of the Digital Tuner to
480P.
• Set the SIGNAL SELECT switch on the rear of the Digital
Tuner to COMPONENT.

RGB connection
This Digital Tuner can be connected to a high-
definition television (480P) using the RGB terminals
for higher quality images.
• Set the DTV-OUT switch on the rear of the Digital Tuner to
480P.
• Set the SIGNAL SELECT switch on the rear of the Digital
Tuner to RGB.

Note:
When 480P is chosen, the image is displayed in 16:9 aspect ratio irregardless
