You can listen to the Digital Audio Broadcast-
ing using the navigation system. This section
describes operations for Digital Audio Broad-
casting.
To receive DAB signals, connect a DAB aerial
(AN-DAB1) sold separately to the unit.
Digital Radio
(DAB) features the following:

High sound quality (nearly as high as for
CDs, although it may be reduced in some
cases in order to allow more services to be
broadcast)
!
Interference-free reception
Some individual services in an ensemble may
be further subdivided into Service Compo-
nents. The main Service Component is called
the Primary Service Component, and any aux-
iliary Service Components are called Second-
ary Service Components.
